STUDIO
Visitors are welcome to explore the Silk Weaving Studio seven days a week from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. There is always work in progress at the studio, whether it is winding warps, setting up or weaving on one of our three looms. If your timing is right, you may even catch a glimpse of silkworms fattening up on mulberry leaves or spinning silk.
Handwoven silk scarves, shawls and clothing made by hand in our studio are always available for purchase, as are undyed and hand-dyed silk yarns and fibres in a selection of beautiful colors and textures. We are now carrying knitting kits and patterns for our beautiful silk yarns. You may also be tempted by locally made accessories such as jewelry and hats.
