The Ann Sutton Collection
In 2013, Diana Sanderson acquired the Ann Sutton collection of Junichi Arai and Nuno works with the promise that it would be made available for viewing to anyone interested.
Our "Ann Sutton Collection Team", made up of Diana Sanderson, Darlene Ochotta, Carly Hulse and Amanda Wood, have documented and prepared the collection for viewing. Diana, the owner of the Silk Weaving Studio has an extensive background in weaving and textiles. Darlene, Carly and Amanda are all graduates of the textile program at Capilano University, North Vancouver, British Columbia.
Each month, we display one piece of the collection in the studio along with some information about the textile.
