STUDIO
Visitors are welcome to explore the Silk Weaving Studio seven days a week from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. There is always work in progress at the studio, whether it is winding warps, setting up or weaving on one of our five looms. If your timing is right, you may even catch a glimpse of silkworms fattening up on mulberry leaves or spinning silk.
Handwoven silk scarves, shawls and clothing made by hand in our studio are always available for purchase, as are hand-dyed silk yarns in a wide selection of beautiful colors and textures. We are now carrying knitting kits and patterns for our beautiful silk yarns. You may also be tempted by locally made accessories such as jewelry and hats, or buttery silk knit lingerie that we stock regularly.
