Most of my life I have dabbled in fiber arts: sewing, quilting, and basketry. In 1992 I started working with Diana Sanderson as an apprentice. With her encouragement, I began to explore weaving as a personal expression. Then under Eve Kriss's direction, I learned to dye silk yarn.

While developing a personal style, I am enjoying the tactile experience of handling and dyeing yarn and exploring colour and texture in simple weaves.
